the art studio at orleans modern
in addition to the orleans modern art gallery and our workshop series, orleans modern is also a working art studio. Peter Kalill is the owner of orleans modern and has been a working artist on Cape Cod for over twenty years producing work out of his home studio in Eastham. With the opening of orleans modern in late 2019, he is now also using the excellent light and space of the orleans modern art gallery as an art studio. Painting, drawing, occasionally woodblock carving, poster making, and sometimes even scrimshaw are among the things that you might find Peter working on at the studio at orleans modern. He is always happy to stop and have a chat or to demonstrate a bit of technique.
