Welcome to Orleans Modern Art Studios
Explore your creativity in this 6 session oil painting class. Whether your goal is to hone your painting style, learn a new technique or simply stay in practice, this course will provide the opportunity to explore oil painting with instruction tailored to your experience. With individualized instruction by Pete Kalill, each student is encouraged to bring their own ideas and interests as they explore a wide range of oil painting techniques and styles.
Each session will begin with an exercise such as use of materials, design and composition, and color mixing, followed by a project to put these practices into use. Participants can work on assigned projects, or work on their own. Optional critiques are available at the end of each project completion.
Easels and chairs will be provided as well as a list of recommended materials for participants to bring for their own use.
